The lasagna and short rib dinner was delicious. I was disappointed with their focaccia bread.

We had reservations at Saturday 6:45pm. We were seated right away when we arrived. They have big outdoor patio. There's an area with tent covering or no covering. We sat indoors since it was cold. We brought a bottle of merlot wine from a winery and paid $25 corkage fee to drink it there. We ordered variety of items to share: meat lovers pizza, meatballs, salmon ravioli, lasagna, and braised short ribs. Food was good! Fast service too. We mentioned that it was anniversary for our parents and they brought out some sweet alcohol shots at the end of dinner.

Locanda and Livermore never disappoints. I've been to Danville several times and Pleasanton once or twice, but I think Livermore is the best one. The same host, mick, is always working, and I like the consistency of that. They make good cocktails, but it's always fun to get an aperol spritz. I definitely prefer sitting outside, but we sat inside today and it wasn't so bad. I just like the outside vibe much better. The pizza here is good. I've had most, if not all, of them. Tonight we had the meat lovers pizza and it tasted extra good! The crust was really crispy, but not in an overcooked way. We also had the Locanda salad with prawns and that's one of my favorites here. I've had dessert here once, a tiramisu that was prepared differently. It did taste good though. This is definitely a go-to in downtown Livermore during the summer when you can sit outside and drink, cocktails with your pizza or charcuterie or salad... Or whatever you want!

This was our first time coming here but we were pleasantly impressed. We got the happy hour items - white wine flights and the following bar bites: Fiori Di Zucca: 5/5 Fantastic nuggets of gooey cheese with Zucchini blossoms, deep fried (or possibly even beer battered) and plated on a bed of marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese and arugula. Amazing and light! This was staff recommended :) Antipasti: 5/5 A lovely display of breadsticks, apricots, mortadella, salami, assortment of cheese (Pecorino, truffle and garlic cheese, tres leches cheese), pitted green olives, pickled chillies, almonds. Honey and onion jam (which was mind blowing!!) was on the side to dip and seal every bite with the right amount of sweetness. Ambiance: 5/5 we sat in the protected outdoor area that was warm for Christmas Eve. Both indoors and outdoors gave us vibes of Italy which was so nice.l to reminisce. Staff: 5/5 very knowledgeable about their food and super friendly

The server amd host were very sweet ladies. Super helpful in guiding us with menu questions and suggestions. The drinks were all very good. My group of 4 all ordered different ones to try and all were delicious. My favorite food item was the flor de calabaza (squash flower) with cheese that was deep fried. They offer indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar seating.

Absolutely love this place. It's very adorable inside with limited seating however, outside there's very spacious and has lots of seating. Staff is extremely friendly and service is amazing. Their specialty cocktails for the holiday are extremely delicious. Food was very yummy. Highly recommend sticking to the small plates so you're able to try a little bit of everything

Sister restaurant to Locanda Positano in Lafayette, among some other locations. Food was good as usual, no complaints there. However, it was a particularly windy day and the seating was all outdoors, but our space heater was not working for the majority of the meal. Each table came with a couple blankets which was very thoughtful, but personally I don't enjoy using communal blankets if I can avoid it, especially if I have to wear it on my upper body while eating Anyways, recommend the pulpo and the pizzas are pretty large portions for one person as well.

Locanda Wine Bar is unlike anything else on first st in Livermore. From the ambiance and decor to food and service, it felt like we were dining in a coastal town in Italy. The only thing missing was the actual coast. From appetizer to dessert, everything was incredibly delectable and had layers of flavor. The staff even gave us free Nutella martini shots which were perfect after our delectable desserts and a perfect end to a great meal. We ate so much but didn't feel overstuffed which is always a great feeling. If you're in Livermore and need a place to eat after some wine tasting, go to Locanda. It's less than 10 minutes from most wineries.
